Body Recovered In Swansea House Fire Investigation

Firefighters have recovered the body of a missing person following a house fire in Swansea.

Fire authorities had reported on Monday that two adults had been rescued from the burning house on Llangwm estate, just after midnight on Monday, but said a third person was still missing.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said that the property was "too unsafe to search" and at the time it was unknown if the missing person had been in the house at the time of the blaze.

Fire crews entered the property on Monday evening and recovered the body of a woman, which they have said is that of their missing person.

The man and woman rescued from the fire are in a stable condition in hospital.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
