Twenty Three Injured In Tour Coach Crash

Twenty three people required hospital treatment after a tour coach came off the road and overturned on the A83 in Argyll.

It is understood there were 51 people on board the bus at the time of the crash, with the injured being treated at three NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde hospitals.

An initial investigation suggests the Loch and Glens Holidays coach was blown off the road and rolled down an embankment, where it overturned.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to them.

Three people are in hospital after a coach carrying twenty four people crashed into a ditch shortly after midnight in Suffolk. Emergency services were called at about 00:15 on Friday morning after a coach left the road and crashed into a ditch on the A146 at Beccles. Three people are being treated at James Paget Hospital.

Three people have been killed and a number of others seriously injured when a coach returning from a festival on the Isle of Wight overturned after crashing into a tree near a tunnel in Surrey. The 51-seat coach was travelling north on the A3 when the crash happened near the Hindhead Tunnel around 23:50 on Monday.

Six People In Hospital Following M25 Coach Crash
Six people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a coach crash on the M25 in Surrey. The incident occurred on the anticlockwise M25 carriageway in the early hours of this morning 27 July. It is understood 48 people were on board the coach when it collided with a concrete parapet between Junctions 8 and 9 at approximately 1:45am.

Ex-Kent Coach Injured In Lahore Attacks
A British cricket coach has been injured when gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying the Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan. The incident happened as the team bus came under gun and rocket fire as they travelled to face Pakistan in a Test match in Lahore.

Wi-fi Trial On The Glasgow Subway
A wi-fi system is to be tried out at Buchanan Street Station on the Glasgow Subway. If successful, passengers will be able to use their laptops and make phone calls. The link could be in operation by the end of the year. A similar scheme is also being considered by First Scotrail for central belt services.
