Motorcylist Dies Following Accident In Pilling
A motorcyclist who was seriously injured following a collision in Pilling last month has died.
The collision occurred at around 12.25pm on Tuesday 10th March on the A588, Head Dyke Lane.
It is believed that a Honda motorcycle travelling towards Lancaster was involved in a collision with a Fiat Stilo.
The motorcyclist, who can be named as 66-year-old Michael Tyson from Knott End, was taken by air ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital. He died in hospital on Thursday 2nd April.
Police Appeal For Information After Teenage Girl Assaulted In Basildon
Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl from Basildon was assaulted in Northlands Park between 4pm and 5pm on Easter Sunday after playing on the swings.
The suspect is described as aged in his 20s, white and 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and black baseball cap.
DI Morgan Cronin said: "The park would have been quite busy at this time of the afternoon. The weather was pleasant and there would have been many families out and about enjoying the bank holiday weekend.
"I am appealing for anyone who saw a man with a younger girl in the park, who may match the description given, to contact my team."
Public Urged To Be Cautious After Prescription Medication Lost
Merseyside Police is appealing for the public to be cautious after prescription medication is believed to have been lost in the Bootle area at some point between Wednesday, 1 April and Saturday, 4 April.
Officers received a report on Monday 6th April that two boxes of Equasym XL 20mg tablets had been lost somewhere between the Breeze Hill area and Church Road West. Each box is white, has the name of the patient on the outside, and contains 20 tablets in blister packs.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing.

Mark Bridger kidnapped the girl and sexually abused her before disposing her body, which has never been found. He was convicted and given a whole-life tariff. Bridger kidnapped April near her home in Machynlleth on 1 October 2012.
