Police Appeal To Man Seen With Missing 12-Year-Old
Police are appealing for a man captured on CCTV with a missing 12-year-old girl to contact them.
Police said that Evelin Mezei was reported missing by her mother on Monday evening. She was last seen at about 22:30 in Grove Crescent Road, in Stratford, east London.
CCTV footage shows the child around an hour later walking on nearby Romford Road with an unknown man.
Police added they currently have no evidence to suggest that any harm has been caused to Evelin, but "she is a young girl, new to this country and clearly vulnerable".
"We urgently need to find her and, at this time, this man is the last person we know who has had contact with Evelin," Insp Lewis Hastie said.
She is described by police as white, with a large build.
Evelin was last seen wearing a red jacket and black leggings with white stars and carrying a black and red schoolbag-style bag.

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
