Appeal For Information After Body Found In Fife

Police in Fife have appealed for information into an ongoing investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Glenrothes.

Police discovered the body of Aleksandrs Sokolovs (29) inside a property on Tummel Road on Monday.

The death of the Latvian-national is being treated as suspicious.

Police said a 28-year-old man is continuing to help them with their inquiries.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.

A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a Hull hotel room. Police said they were called to the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street at 13:00 on Sunday, where they discovered the body of a woman. She is yet t be identified.

Third Body Found In Arson Attack Mansion
A third body has been found in the burnt-out mansion of a millionaire businessman. Christopher Foster, 50, his wife Jill, 49, and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had not been seen since the arson attack last Tuesday at Osbaston House, a large country estate in Shropshire. West Mercia Police are treating the case as a murder inquiry.
