Sir Christopher Lee Dies Aged 93

Sir Christopher Lee has died aged 93.

The English-born actor appeared in more than 250 films and played many well known roles, including Scaramanga in James Bond and evil wizard Saruman in The Lord of the Rings, alongside roles in The Wicker Man and Star Wars.

The actor is reported to have died on Sunday at Chelsea and Westminster hospital in London, after being hospitalised for respiratory problems and heart failure.

Police Reopen 1994 Child Murder Case

Detectives in Cambridgeshire have reopened an investigation into the murder of 6-year-old boy in November 1994.

The naked body of Rikki Neave was found in woods near Peterborough's Welland Estate on 29 November 1994. He had been strangled.His mother, Ruth Neave, was cleared of his murder at a trial. She later admitted child neglect and cruelty and was jailed for seven years.

Cambridgeshire Police said that the investigation was being "started afresh".

Gastroenteritis Outbreak Shuts Down Cardiff Hotel

A south Wales hotel has been shut down following an outbreak of gastroenteritis.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the virus outbreak at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff.

Management at the hotel said that it had been closed as a "precautionary measure" and that it was "providing support to guests".

Reward Offered In 1994 Murder Investigation
A £20,000 reward is being offered in a new bid to solve the 1994 murder of 23-year-old Julie Finley. Ms Finley went missing in Liverpool city centre on 05 August, 1994. Her naked body was found the following day in a carrot field near Wheatsheaf Hotel in Rainford, St Helens. She had been strangled.

Police Renew Appeal For Information On 1994 Taxi Driver Murder
A reward of £20,000 is being offered for information leading to a conviction for the 1994 murder of Ethsham 'Shami' Ghafoor. Mr Ghafoor was found in his taxi shot dead in the early hours of 22nd November, 2014, in Lambley Lane, Gedling, Nottinghamshire.

New Appeal Issued Over 1994 Murder
A fresh appeal for information has been launched in the unsolved murder of Atek Hussain in east London 20 years ago. The father-of-three was stabbed to death outside his hime in Burnels Avenue, East Ham, in the early hours of 18 September 1994.

£100k Rewards For 1994 Murder
A £100,000 reward is being offered by detectives hunting the killer of Doreen Morris, who was murdered at her home in Holyhead in 1994. Last Thursday marked the sixteenth anniversary of the death of the 64-year-old woman, whose badly burnt remains were discovered at her home Penrhyn Uchaf on Mill Lane.
