Police Appeal For Witnesses To HGV Dangerous Driving Incident
North Yorkshire Police have appealed for witnesses to a dangerous driving incident near Harrogate.
Police are investigating reports that a heavy goods vehicle was seen overtaking other vehicles in the 40mph restriction zone on the A61 at Wormald Green, narrowly avoiding the central traffic islands.
Anyone who saw the vehicle in the area is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Traffic Constable Steve James or Harrogate Roads Policing Group.

Funeral To Be Held For Charles Kennedy
The funeral is to be held today for former Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy, near his home in the Highlands.
A Mass is to be held at St John's Roman Catholic Church in Caol ahead of a burial service in Clunes, Achnacarry.
Leading political figures are expected to join Mr Kennedy's family and friends.
Mr Kennedy died at his home in Fort William on 1 June at the age of 55 after suffering a major haemorrhage as a result of his battle with alcoholism.
Appeal Issued For Missing Aston Man
West Midlands Police have appealed for help in tracing 37-year-old Yaseen Boota.
Mr Boota has been missing from his home in Fentham Road, Aston, since 07 June.
He is said to suffer with mental health issues and it is believed he has not taken his medication since he went missing.
He is described as Asian, 6ft 2ins tall, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a stripe down the sleeves, blue jeans and a black jumper.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Steelhouse Lane police station on 101.

Detectives in Glasgow are continuing enquiries after a woman was indecently assaulted on Saturday in the Govan area. The 37-year-old woman was in a car park at Water Row, just off Govan Road, at around 8.30pm when she noticed a man lying on the ground.

Employment Appeal Tribunal Rule On Holiday Pay
The Employment Appeal Tribunal has ruled that overtime should be considered when calculating holiday pay. Currently only basic pay is used to calculate holiday, however, the landmark ruling means that any worker who does voluntary overtime could claim for additional holiday pay.

East London Murder Appeal
Detectives have appealed for information about the murder of a woman in Manor Park. Aliza Ahmed Mirza, 18, a student from Ilford, died on Saturday 3 April. Police had been called to reports of a collapsed female. It is believed she was stabbed while in the Forest View Road area. Miss Mirza was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.

Former police officers arrested in Lynette White murder case
Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.
