Man Charged With Sexual Assaults On Public Transport

A man has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on public transport in Tower Hamlets earlier this year.

Sadikur Rahman, 40, of Shrewsbury Road, Forest Gate, has been charged in connection with two incidents on route 339 buses in Tower Hamlets. He appeared at East London Magistrates' Court on 31 July and was bailed to appear on 5 October at the same court.

Man Charged With Tower Hamlets Stabbing Murder
A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Tower Hamlets on Monday, 14 September. A man, named by police as Zakariyya Islam (45), was found with critical stab injuries at an address on Greatorex Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Rolex Daytona watch owned by Laureano 'Lauren' Bisan-Etame Mayer had his watch stolen from him in March 2005, but his now been recovered after a major raid on addresses in London.

23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Tower Hamlets Death
A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a man in Tower Hamlets on Monday, 14 September. A man, aged in his forties, was found with critical stab injuries at an address on Greatorex Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police had not reported the investigation until the victims family had been informed.

Inspectors Appointed For Tower Hamlets
The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles, has appointed inspectors to look into allegations of governance failure, poor financial management and fraud at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Serious concerns have been raised following the receipt of certain documents.
