Appeal Issued For Missing Pregnant Woman

Derbyshire Police have appealed for help tracing a missing pregnant woman.

21-year-old Kayleigh Goodhead, from Ripley, has not been seen since Saturday, 15 August.

It is understood that she left her friend'd house in Derby Road, Heanor at around 21:30 that night and was seen getting into a silver car.

Her friends and family have not heard from her since.

Miss Goodhead, who is eight months pregnant, is white, 5ft 1ins tall and has black hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101.

Pregnant Briton Given Life Sentence In Laos
A pregnant Briton accused of drug smuggling in Laos, has been given a life sentence. Samantha Orobator, 20, from London, was caught with 1.5lb (680g) of heroin at Wattay airport in the capital, Vientiane, last August. The 20-year-old's trial had been delayed while Laotian officials tried to find out how she became pregnant in prison.

Missing Schoolgirl Found On Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.
