Reward Offered In Hunt For Man Who Attacked Pregnant Woman
A £20,000 reward has been offered for information leading the to conviction of the person responsible for a "brutal assault" of a pregnant woman on 15 June in Peckham.
The 21-year-old woman was 32 weeks pregnant when she was attacked on Talfourd Place, Peckham, at about 20:00 on Monday, 15 June. She was approached by two men wearing crash helmets, who pushed her to the ground and kicked and stamped on her stomach.
The woman's unborn child did not survive the attack.
Detective Inspector David Suddick, from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "Although one man has been charged, we have yet to identify the second person involved in this horrific attack.
"The victim has recovered physically from her ordeal but naturally remains devastated at the loss of her baby.
"Somewhere out there is a very violent individual and we hope the offer of this reward may encourage someone to come forward. If you have any information, please contact us."
The outstanding suspect is described as being in his 20s.
DI Suddick added: "We are also appealing for any information about the victim's white iPhone 5s which went missing during the attack. It has yet to be traced."

Pregnant Woman Sexually Attacked On Bus
Police have released CCTV images to find a man in connection with sexually assaulting a pregnant woman on a bus in Birmingham on 20th May. According to police, the man sat beside the 33-year-old woman and started rubbing her leg. As she got up to leave he appeared to attack her again.

Police have appealed for information after four masked men, armed with axes, staged a daylight smash-and-grab robbery in Glasgow's Argyll Arcade. The four men entered the arcade wearing masks and carrying axes, they set off a smoke bomb before trying to smash shop windows at about 12:15 on Tuesday.
