Double murder accused appears in court
A 39-year old man charged with a double murder at Highmoor Cross, near Henley, has appeared in court today.
Stuart Horgan, from Plaistow, London, appeared before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murderers of his estranged wife Vicky Horgan, 27, and her 25-year-old sister Emma Walton. He also faces a charge of attempting to murder the victims' mother. She is seriously ill in hospital.
All three women suffered gunshot wounds during the incident which occurred at a family barbecue on Sunday afternoon.
The accused was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on June 17.

A man has appeared before a district judge charged with murdering a woman and her baby. Wesley John Williams, 28, was charged with the murders of Yvonne Walsh, 25, and her seven-month-old son Harrison. Williams from Birmingham spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

Mark Hobson has been charged with the murders of 27-year-old twins, Claire and Diane Sanderson. He is accused of killing his girlfriend Claire Sanderson on July 7, and her sister Diane on July 17.

A 41-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of former model Rachel Nickell on Wimbledon Common 15 years ago. Robert Napper appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court today, accused of the 23-year-old's murder. He was granted technical bail on the condition that he remains detained at Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital.
