Four killed in Tel Aviv suicide bombing
Four people have died after a suicide bombing ripped through a crowded marketplace in Tel Aviv this morning.
At 30 people were injured as a result of the attack on Carmel market, which has since been claimed by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
It has been reported that the bomber detonated 5kg of explosives inside a shop in the marketplace.
Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said he "utterly condemned" the bombing.
Mr Straw said: "My deepest sympathies go to the victims and their families. Acts of violence like this present enormous obstacles to moving the peace process forward. I call on both sides to fulfil their commitments under the roadmap, including for the Palestinian Authority to fully implement its security obligations."
The Palestinian president Yasser Arafat, who is currently receiving treatment for a serious illness in a French hospital, also condemned the bombing.

Policeman 'Serious' After NI Bombing
A policeman has been taken to hospital after a bomb exploded under his car in Co Antrim this morning. The victim of the early morning car bomb attack was rushed to hospital soon after the blast which exploded under a car, the police have confirmed. It is understood he sustained serious injuries to his pelvis.

Northern Ireland Seaside Bombing Fails
An undercar booby trap bomb has been found in the driveway of an Army officer's home in Bangor, Co Down this morning. The device fell off the vehicle on Wednesday morning and was found by the officer and between 20 and 30 houses in the Chatworth area of the town were evacuated.

Four civilians die in Falluja bombing
Four more civilians have been killed in a suicide bomb attack in Iraq today – less than 36 hours after a series of coordinated strikes killed 34 in Baghdad. A car was driven close to a police station in Falluja earlier this afternoon before a device was detonated. Reports are yet to be confirmed on the numbers of casualties involved.
