Teenage girl injured in school stabbing

A 15-year-old girl has been injured after being stabbed in a school canteen.

Natashia Jackman, 15, was queuing in a canteen in Collingwood College, in Camberley, Surrey, when she was attacked with what is believed to have been a pair of scissors.

Natashia was stabbed in the eye, head, chest and back in the attack and is now in hospital awaiting surgery.

Surrey Police confirmed that three teenage girls – two aged 14 and one aged 15 – had been arrested in connection with the attack.

Natashia’s father. Humperdinck Jackman, said that a group of pupils had been taunting her about her long hair and had threatened to cut it or set it on fire.

When Natashia stood up to them, he said, the stabbing took place.

Mr Jackman said that Natashia had told him there was only one teacher in the canteen at the time and they were dealing with another fight, when the attack took place.
