Terror suspect arrest in Sheffield
Police in Sheffield have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of involvement in terrorism.
The man was arrested at a house in Sheffield on Friday morning. He was taken to a South Yorkshire police station, where anti-terrorist detectives from the Metropolitan Police will interview him.
Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of having items likely to be of use to a terrorist.
It is understood that the arrest is in connection with an investigation into alleged terrorist activities in South East Asia and not with the ongoing inquiry into last July's London bombings.
The house is also still being searched by police.
