Langham case adjourned

Comedy actor Chris Langham, who has been charged with making indecent images of children, has had his hearing adjourned until next month.

Mr Langham, 57, from Cranbrook, Kent, was charged with 15 counts of making indecent images of children by Kent Police last week. He had originally been arrested last December as part of an investigation into internet pornography.

He appeared before Sevenoaks magistrates on Wednesday. The case has now been adjourned until June 28 in order for forensic reports to be completed.

Mr Langham was released on bail.

Mr Langham was awarded a Bafta last week for his role as harassed New Labour minister Hugh Abbot in BBC Four's 'The Thick Of It'.

He has also been praised for his role as a psychiatrist in BBC2 sitcom 'Help' alongside former 'Fast Show' star, Paul Whitehouse.
