Fresh appeal in Swansea murder

Police investigating the murder of a 37-year-old woman in Swansea have made a fresh appeal for information.

Jaspal Marsh, who was originally from Kent, was found dead at her home in Howards Way, Gorseinon on July 29.

A post-mortem revealed that she died of multiple stab wounds.

Police have been granted an extra 36 hours to question two people - a 29-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man - who were arrested on Monday. They are being detained at police stations in South Wales.

Police have appealed for information about a silver Mazda 6 car, which was seen in the area near Mrs Marsh's home between midnight on Friday night and 2am on Saturday morning.

Detective Superintendent Paul Kemp, who is leading the investigation, said: "This has been a very fast developing investigation. But I would like to remind everyone that although we have made progress in our investigation, our investigation is still on going.

"This means that we still need assistance from members of the public and your information can still be very important to our enquiry."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 01792 562 731 or Crimestoppers on: 0800 555 111.
