Pakistan cricket captain charged after forfeit
Pakistan cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has been charged with bringing the game into disrepute after forfeiting the Fourth Test against England.
The match, at The Oval, was awarded to England on Sunday after the Pakistan team refused to return to the field, following allegations of ball-tampering.
The umpires - Darrell Hair and Billy Doctrove - had decided that the ball had been tampered with and awarded five penalty runs to England.
However, the Pakistan team refused to return to the pitch after the tea interval and, after 15 minutes, the umpires removed the stumps, signalling that the match was being awarded to England.
Inzamam has now been charged with two charges relating to changing the condition of the ball and bringing the game into disrepute by the International Cricket Council.
If he is found guilty, he will face a ban of between two and four Test matches or four to eight one-day matches.
The hearing is due to take place on Friday.
Pakistan has accused umpire Darrell Hair of being biased against South Asian teams and said that they will not play any games in which he was participating.

Pakistan's Match-Fixing Row Players Dropped From Tour
The three Pakistan cricketers at the centre of a match-fixing row have been dropped from the rest of the team's England tour, according to reports. Although the players have not been suspended, manager Yawar Saeed told reporters that he decided to leave them out of the squad.
