Teen in court over Peter Woodhams murder

An 18-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Peter Woodhams.

Bradley Tucker, unemployed and of no fixed abode, is charged with murder, as well as possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on December 19.

Mr Tucker was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Peter Woodhams after he handed himself in at a police station in east London on Monday.

Mr Woodhams, 22, was shot dead near his home in Canning Town, east London following a confrontation with a group of youths outside shops on August 21.

Police have also now arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the killing.

He is being held at an east London police station.

Teenager found guilty of young father's murder
A teenager has been found guilty of murdering young father-of-one Peter Woodhams on the doorstep of his home. Bradley Tucker, 18, shot Mr Woodhams, the father of a three-year-old boy, in Canning Town in east London last August.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Double Murder Investigation Underway After Bodies Found In Garden
The discovery of human remains at a house in Nottinghamshire has become a double murder investigation, police have said. Police were speaking on Monday about the discovery on October 10 of the remains of two bodies in the garden of a house in Blenheim Close, Forest Town, Nottinghamshire. Police say they were led to the property by a tip.
