Vans to carry posters of missing children
Posters of missing children are to be carried on hundreds of vans across the UK as part of a new campaign.
More than 450 vans are to be used to display the posters, which will feature children on the police-run Missing Kids website.
The first picture to be used on the posters is that of 15-year-old Sasha McLeish, who vanished in Luton on June 23.
The cases which will feature in the campaign will be decided by the missing persons bureau at Scotland Yard, while US company Emcor will provide the posters and vans.
It is estimated that around 100,000 children run away from home in the UK each year, with around 90% of those being found.
