Mills to get £2m down payment

It is reported that Heather Mills is to get a £2 million down payment from her estranged husband.

The money is to be paid as a "goodwill gesture without prejudice."

A settlement case is ongoing, but Sir Paul McCartney says £40 million is too much and has denied being worth an estimated £825 million.

The couple split last year after four years of marriage.

The couple have one child, Beatrice, aged three.
