Statue of Moore to be unveiled at Wembley
A statue of 1966 World Cup hero Bobby Moore is being unveiled at the new Wembley stadium at a ceremony attended by the football legend's widow and Tony Blair.
The sculpture of Moore, who died of cancer in 1993 at the age of 51, has been created by artist Philip Jackson.
Stephanie Moore, the widow of England's world cup winning hero said: "Philip has done an incredible job of capturing Bobby, both in terms of his qualities as a player and his physical appearance.
"I am delighted that Bobby's career is being recognised in such an appropriate way and in such a perfect place as Wembley. He belongs to football and to the fans."
Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell will also attend the ceremony in north-west London.

World Cup winner Alan Ball dies
England World Cup winner Alan Ball has died at the age of 61. The former Blackpool, Everton, Arsenal and Southampton player collapsed outside his home in Hampshire as he tackled a bonfire. Ball was the youngest member of England's World Cup-winning squad in 1966. He went on to win 72 caps for his country.

Guilty Plea For Wembley Killing
A man has pleaded guilty to the fatal assault of another man outside Wembley Stadium in September. Ian Mytton, 41, of Gateley Close, Redditch, Worcestershire, appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, charged with manslaughter of 44-year-old Michael Dye outside Wembley Stadium on September 6.

Philpott Children Fund-Raising Group Agrees To Stop
A group raising money in the name of the six children of Mick and Mairead Philpott have been asked to stop by police. It is understood that the group, Catch Me When I Fall, was investigated after questions over how money raised was being spent. No evidence of any wrongdoing was found.

An average of 23.2 million tuned in to watch the closing ceremony of the Olympics, narrowly beating Danny Boyle’s opening event. 22.9m viewers watched the closing event on BBC1, giving the broadcaster a huge 80.7% share of the TV audience.
