Man in court over Manchester triple murder

A man has appeared in court today charged with the murders of a woman and her two teenage children in Manchester.

Pierre Williams, 32, from Selly Oak in Birmingham, is accused of murdering Beverley Samuels, 36, her 18-year-old daughter Kesha Wizzart and 13-year-old son Fred Junior Wizzart.

Their bodies were found in their home in Thelwall Avenue in Fallowfield, Manchester, last Thursday evening. Post-mortem examinations revealed that the family all died from head injuries.

Appearing at Manchester Crown Square Court via video link, Mr Williams was remanded in custody to reappear in court on October 31.

A provisional trial date has been set for February 19 next year.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with grooming offences following an investigation by Greater Manchester Police's Sunrise Team in Rochdale. Ryan Howley, of Top O'The Close Road, Walsden, Todmorden, is charged with two counts of attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming and one count of inciting a child to commit sexual activity.

Mother Charged With Young Son' Murders
A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of her two young children. Jael Mullings, 21, appeared before Manchester City Magistrates' Court, accused of stabbing to death Romario Mullings-Sewell, two and his three-month-old brother Delayno at their Cheetham Hill, Manchester home.

Twelve-year-old charged with raping child
A 12-year-old boy has been charged with raping another boy, aged 8, in Greater Manchester, police have confirmed. The 12-year-old from the Wigan area, who can not be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of rape, seven counts of sexual assault and three counts of engaging a child in sexual activity.
