Dead Mother's Tribute To Daughter On Web Site

The bereaved mother of a teenager who was found dead beside a railway line in Essex left an emotional poem and message for her on a website just days before she died in identical circumstances.

Joanne Coombs, 40, left the poem and message on a page dedicated to her 17-year-old daughter Natasha on the social networking site Bebo.

The poem contained the lines: "The house without you is empty and bare" and "We'll ache and weep until our lives end."

The poem was followed by a message which said: "I talk 2 u all the time baby and I now u r by my side giving me the strength to carry on. I love you and miss u so very, very much."

The body of Mrs Coombs was found near Manningtree station in Essex on Tuesday night, in the same spot where Natasha's body was found last month.

Natasha disappeared following a night out with friends in Ipswich on July 27. Her body was found in undergrowth a mile down the line from Manningtree station two weeks later and a post-mortem confirmed that she died when she was hit by a train. Police are trying to establish the circumstances of Natasha's death.

Mrs Coombs had given a press conference on August 2 with her husband Gary, 48, to appeal for help in finding her daughter.

She had broken down in front of the cameras, describing life as "unbearable" without her only daughter.

Prayers have been said for Mr Coombs at a church near the family's home in Dovercourt. He also left flowers at the spot where the bodies of his wife and daughter were found. A note on the bouquet said: "My darling wife Joanne. Please be at peace with our dear Natasha and Emma. Life will never ever be the same. You have been the greatest person anyone could wish to be with. Until we meet again, always yours, Gary xxx."

It has also been reported that Mr and Mrs Coombs lost their other daughter, Emma, who was stillborn.
