Police Hunt For Perth Rapist

Police in Perth have launched an investigation after a 17-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the city centre on Saturday night.

The woman was walking in South Street around 11pm on Saturday night when she was approached by a man who led her into a close, situated between Krungthai restaurant and Essentials, where he raped her.

The man is described as being around 24-years-old, of muscular build, 5ft 10in to 6ft tall in height, with dark receding hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured top with horizontal stripes running across the chest and a white collar, light coloured jeans and white trainers.

Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area in a bid to identify the man responsible, but they are still keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Four Bodies Found At A House In Bradford
Four bodies have been discovered at a property in Bradford, according to West Yorkshire Police. A man, woman and two teenage girls were found at a house at around 8.30pm on Monday night. In a statement, police said: "Enquiries are at a very early stage, but police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the enquiry.

Gloucestershire police force has admitted illegally rejecting over 100 potential recruits because they were white men. The police force admitted 'randomly deselecting' men in order to meet government targets to boost the number of ethnic minority and female recruits in its ranks.

Former police officers arrested in Lynette White murder case
Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.
