Victim's Dad Charged With Murder

A father accused of killing his four-year-old son is to appear in court.

Christopher Hawkins, 47, will come before Bradford Crown Court, charged with killing Ryan and the attempted murder of his sister, Donna.

The children's father is accused of murdering his young son and attempting to murder his teenage daughter.

Little Ryan Hawkins, who had just celebrated his fourth birthday, was found seriously injured on September 23 at his home in Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

The child had been stabbed nine times and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Ryan's sister, Donna, 14, was found with 23 stab wounds but survived the attack.

Man Found Guilty Of Son's Murder
A man has been found guilty of the murder of his young son and the attempted murder of his teenage daughter. Christopher Hawkins, 47, from Slaithwaite in Huddersfield was found guilty of murdering his son Ryan, four, and attempting to kill his 14-year-old daughter Donna, who was stabbed more than 13 times, but survived.

Father Charged With Son's Murder
The father of a four-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in West Yorkshire has appeared in court charged with his murder. Ryan Hawkins died after being stabbed at a house in Royd Street in Slaithwaite on Sunday afternoon. A post-mortem revealed that he died from multiple stab wounds.

Investigation Into Child's Stabbing Death Continues
Police are continuing to investigate an incident in Huddersfield in which a four-year-old boy was stabbed to death and his 14-year-old sister was seriously injured. The incident happened in Royd Street in Slaithwaite around 1pm on Sunday. The boy, named as Ryan Hawkins, was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, but died a short time later.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

Youth In Court For Costcutter Murder
A nineteen-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a teenager at a south-east London supermarket. Ashley Bucknor, of no fixed abode, will appear before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court later.
