Britain Braced For More Floods
Heavy rain is continuing to sweep across parts of England and Wales, bringing risk of flooding in some parts.
More than 60 flood warnings have been issued by the Environment Agency.
Flood warnings have been put in place along the River Severn between Worcester and Tewkesbury and from Tewkesbury to upstream Gloucester.
The flood warnings have remained in place since Friday, when roads and railways were brought to a standstill by flash flooding.
Highway teams from Gloucestershire County Council have been clearing debris from roads and inspecting the conditions of the region's highways.
Severe gales have been forecast for much of west and southeast England, with flash floods also predicted in some areas of both England and Wales.
The Environment Agency is warning that the next 48 hours will be "crucial" across parts of England and Wales affected by the severe weather.
As much as 40mm of rain is predicted in some areas, with gale-force winds of up to 70mph also expected on the south coast.
Last July, many householders were affected by severe flooding in western England and the Midlands, following the worst flooding in the area since 1947.
The floods affected more than 4,000 and 500 businesses across Gloucestershire.

The wintry weather will continue over the next few days as Atlantic weather systems stall as they move across the UK, bringing the mix of rain, sleet and snow. As expected, freezing rain and ice brought treacherous conditions across northern Britain on Thursday, and many parts of England and east Wales could will see snow today Friday.

Met office forecasters are warning of the potential for heavy snow across parts of the UK this weekend. Snow is forecast to spread from the west across Wales, and south west England overnight into Saturday morning, before pushing east across other parts of England through the day.

Severe thunderstorms to hit Britain
Parts of Britain are expected to be hit by severe thunderstorms tonight, forecasters have predicted. The east and southeast of the country are expected to be hit by heavy rains, which will then move north eastwards across the country later today and early on Wednesday, the Met Office warned.

Torrential rains cause chaos across the UK
Torrential rains are sweeping across the UK, causing flooding and travel problems. Some areas of the country are expected to receive two months' worth of rain in 24 hours. Berkshire is one of the worst affected areas, with many areas affected by flash flooding. The council is distributing sand bags.
