Police are trying to trace the relatives of an elderly man who lay dead undetected in his Cardiff home. John Thomas, 79, had to be identified using dental records.
His death was only discovered when a neighbour on Tewkesbury Street in the Cathays area said he had not seen Mr Thomas for about eight weeks.
Police found his body on June 11. No members of his family have come forward.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call Cathtays CID on 029 2022 2111.

A man is being questioned over the death of a 30-year-old woman whose body was found at a house in Teesside. The discovery was made an an address in Miniott Walk, in the Hemlington area of Middlesborough, in the early hours of Sunday morning. A spokesman for Cleveland Police said the victim's name will not be released until she has been formally identified. A post mortem is due to take place later.

Investigation Launched Into Hotel Body Find
A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a Hull hotel room. Police said they were called to the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street at 13:00 on Sunday, where they discovered the body of a woman. She is yet t be identified.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Cleddau Estuary Death 'Not Suspicious'
The death of a man whose body was found at an estuary in Pembrokeshire is not being treated as suspicious, Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed. The man's body was found at the Cleddau Estuary, around a mile from Pembroke Dock, on Sunday at around 11.30am. A kayaker raised the alarm. Police have said a file is currently being prepared for the coroner.
