Police Hunt Gang After Glasgow Attack

Police are hunting a gang of men after a street brawl left three men seriously injured.

Officers are treating the attack on a 30-year-old man as attempted murder.

He is being treated for serious injuries at the Southern General Hospital.

The incident happened in Blairdardie Road, Knightswood, at about 8.40pm on Monday.

Police are also investigating attacks on two other men aged 19 and 46.

They were taken to Glasgow's Western Infirmary but were discharged after treatment.

It is understood the brawl involved six or seven men.

Detective Chief Inspector Peter McPike, of Strathclyde Police, said: "I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Blairdardie Road who may have witnessed the disturbance to come forward."

Earlier this month, a 16-year-old boy was hospitalised after being stabbed by a gang at a bus stop.

The teenager was found with serious head and leg injuries in the Calton area of Glasgow.

Police are treating that attack as attempted murder as well and are hunting three older youths.
