Man Shoots Himself With Crossbow In 'Domestic Incident'
A man has shot himself with a crossbow in Cardiff in a "domestic incident", according to police.
It is understood the man drove to Companies House on Crown Way, Maindy, at 10am and shot himself with the weapon after parking a lay-by near the building.
Paramedics and armed police were called to the scene and found a man "wounded and in pain" but "conscious and breathing".
He was taken to the city's University Hospital of Wales.
Companies House spokesman, Neil White said no staff or visitors had been injured and the man had not breached security.

According to police, a suspected gunman, who is believed to have shot himself in a Luton park is alive. Officers entered into a 16-hour stand-off with the man since he was discovered with a firearm at 8.30pm on Sunday night. Police have been negotiating with the man in Leagrave Common.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
