Toddler Dies In Pool Incident

The two-year-old daughter of a British Serviceman has died at an RAF base in Cyprus after apparently getting into difficulties in a paddling pool.

The toddler, named in reports as Lucie Marke, is believed to have been pulled out of the pool alive but died three days after the incident.

The child's body was flown back to RAF Lyneham, Wiltshire, by military aircraft on Wednesday.

The inquest in Salisbury has been adjourned until a date is confirmed.

Police investigating the death of a man who was found dead in Michael barrymore's swimming pool, lost crucial pieces of evicence, an official report has found. Stuart Lubbock, 31, of Harlow, Essex, died in March 2001 after attending a party at Mr Barrymore's former home in Roydon, Essex.

Murder Investigation Launched After 3-Year-Old Found In Hotel Swimming Pool
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a three-year-old girl at a hotel in Lancashire. It is understood that the child died after being pulled from a swimming pool at Dalmeny Hotel on South Promenade in St Annes. Emergency services responded to a report that a child was "drowning" on Thursday morning.

3-Year-Old Dies After Pool Incident
A 3-year-old boy has died in Wiltshire after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool. It is understood that the boy was reported missing on Wednesday evening, but was found in the nearby pool around 20 minutes later. He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital.

Boy Dies In North Yorkshire Swimming Pool
An eight-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulties at a North Yorkshire swimming pool. The tragic incident happened at Hambleton Leisure Centre in Northallerton shortly before 4.30pm on Wednesday. The boy, who was understood to live locally, was taken to the Friarage Hospital, but was pronounced dead later.

Man Convicted Of Pool Cue Murder
A man has been convicted of beating his sister's boyfriend to death with a pool cue. Liverpool Crown Court heard that Daniel Breaks, 48, killed Simon Sutton as he had suspected that he had informed police about an alleged blackmail attempt on a bank.
