Man Dies In Glasgow Bar Shooting

A man has died following a late night shooting outside a bar in Glasgow city centre.

Another man has been seriously injured in the incident, which took place outside the Waldorf Bar in Cambridge Street on Monday at about 10.25pm.

A number of police cars were called to the scene following the shooting at the bar across the road from the Thistle Hotel.

The victims were both taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where one man later died. They are both aged 42. The street between Renfrew Street and Cowcaddens Road remained taped off early this morning as officers carried out checks inside and outside the bar.

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses with information regarding the shooting to contact them.
