Cameron's Expletive Apology
Tory leader David Cameron has apologised for his language on a radio show, after twice using mild swear words.
In the same interview with Absolute radio, Mr Cameron conceded that a Conservative win at the next general election was not 'in the bag', claiming the electorate needs "a lot of convincing" to elect a Tory government.
During a frank, and informal, discussion the Opposition leader suggested the public was "pissed off" with politicians, and joked the "trouble" with social network tool Twitter was its "instantness", jovially adding "too many twits might make a t**t".
Talking on more serious matters, Mr Cameron said "everything must go right" for his party to gain a Commons win at the polls.
"Margaret Thatcher had to win 40 seats to get a majority, just to win. We need to win 120 seats. Everything has got to go right," he said.
"They [the electorate] are going to take a lot of convincing."
Mr Cameron added: "We are really focused on what we need to do between now and the next election. I really don't take it for granted."
The Tory leader will delegate some responsibilities to senior Shadow Cabinet figures next week when he takes annual leave. However, Mr Cameron said he will be carrying his Blackberry with him on holiday, to keep in touch with Westminster happenings.

UK Warned Over Interest Charges If EU Payment Deadline Missed
The European Commission has warned that the UK will face charges of more than £3.5 million if it misses the 01 December deadline, for a £1.7 billion payment it has been asked to make to the European Union. It is understood that David Cameron has said the UK has "no intention" of paying the money.

A 'fast-track' deal is being offered to the people of Scotland by the three main UK political parties, should they decide to vote 'no' in the looming independence referendum. The deal would ensure greater tax and welfare powers for Holyrood in the event that it remains part of the United Kingdom.
