As the owner of this company, I’m writing this not as a review of myself, but as the only way I can respond to a recent review by 'John Boyles'. I am fully aware this is a fraudulent review, as I have never had a client of this name. I am saddened that multiple poor reviews have been attempted to be made by this person and in this fraudulent manor but thankful to 4NI for ensuring that all the others were caught before publishing.

I would also like to take this opportunity to respond to Barry Magennis' review. I’m disappointed to read your review, as I receive so many lovely comments regarding my work & manner. I’m unsure as to what has prompted you to write this review nearly two years after your wedding and after your concerns were resolved. I’m sorry that you felt that a detailed response from my wife to your emails was unsuitable, but unfortunately during busy periods, this is the only way to give a timely response. I was very surprised at your review in light of the fact you had indicated that there were in fact lots of very lovely shots and my style of photography is what captures the atmosphere of the day so well. I had also understood that after our discussions, you were happy with the photos and did not want to proceed with a reshoot. I was always happy to do a reshoot for you and a cost of £200 seemed very fair & reasonable. If you have continuing concerns, please come back to me directly and I will be happy to discuss further.

Mark is a nice guy but, unfortunately, his photos in my opinion, were a bit amateurish and didn't have the wow factor which every couple would want on their wedding day. We saw his portfolio which in hindsight were the best photos which he had taken from all his weddings so we thought that a good portion of the photos would be of similar quality. No hard fillings, just not that great.

Mark we absolutely love our wedding album!!! The photos are perfect. You missed nothing and you got so many images we hadn't even realised you had taken! You were fantastic to deal with before, during and after the wedding. So many people commented to us how professional you were on the day especially how patient you were with our one year old. She took a real shine to you as did my granny! Highly recommend Mark Barton Photography to anyone looking for amazing images and at great prices too! x

We booked Mark to photograph our wedding last April after him coming highly recommended by a number of our friends and we are so glad we did. His service was exceptional from the moment we met him to discuss our plans right through to receiving our album. During our wedding he was fabulous, so unobtrusive and patient with us and all our guests especially the little ones. So many guests commented how gentlemanly he was during the whole day. Patience of a saint. We were totally blown away by the images Mark took. He captured every little detail. Best day of our lives beautifully captured forever! Can't thank you enough Mark!!!

A long overdue Mark Barton photography review. We had our wedding in August 2014. We were not happy with the standard of wedding photographs captured by Mark. We voiced our concerns to Mark Barton but he had very little to say. In some cases his wife replied to our email correspondence and said he was busy. We asked Mark if we would do a re-shoot and his costs were half the price of the original cost.
1. Vital photos were missed off including kissing the bride, putting wedding rings on, giving flowers to the mothers, first dance shots cut us off at the knees etc.
2. Images were taken which were completely irrelevant like our neighbours car!
3. The after service was horrendous. Paying £1K for a days work. I would have thought we would have got the right photographs at the right times.
4. There was a lack of communication after we received the photos. Unwillingness to do a paid re-shoot or suggest any rectification.

A lot of very important shots were missed. These can NEVER be replaced.

Luckily our cinematographer made an amazing video and captured some of the important shots which were missed.
