The Classic Mineral Water Company was established in 1948 and has a long history of bottling carbonated soft drinks and mineral waters in a range of sizes from 19lt bottled water to 250ml glass for hotel & catering trade.
We currently contract bottle for such companies as Bass Ireland, Tesco, Musgrave Supervalu/Centra, and Finchs.
Over the past 12 months the company has invested heavily, having spent over £1m in new state of the art bottling production facilities and warehousing. We have carried out extensive market research to identify how to further our position in the market place and from this it was identified the need to improve our corporate identity, labelling and packaging.
Having undertaken these changes we have seen success with new business gains in Ireland with increased listing in all the multiple symbols and catering groups such as Mt Charles.
In the UK our brand is now widely available within such groups as Waitrose, Sainsburys, Budgens & Tesco. At the recent Hotelympia we secured two very strong distributors for the retail and catering sector.
Negotiations are at an advanced stage for the production of own label products for one of the largest UK food service providers, and we hope to finalise this within the next few weeks.
We have not forgotten our home market and are very keen to develop our brand into the hospitality and catering trade within Northern Ireland.
