Self-catering 5 Star accommodation - Largy Coastal Apartments are located in Carnlough, Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the beautiful Antrim Coast in Glencloy, the second of the nine glens of Antrim. The Antrim Glens are an ideal location for short breaks or longer vacations with good road links to UK international airports and ferry ports in Larne and Belfast.

These luxury self-catering apartments have been awarded the Northern Ireland Tourist Board 5 star rating and can boast luxurious comfortable family sized holiday accommodation.

The apartments afford spectacular panoramic hill and sea views over the Irish Sea and are an ideal base for touring the Glens of Antrim, Old Bushmills Distillery and the world famous Giants Causeway. The accommodation is within a short distance of Slemish where the Irish Saint, Saint Patrick, herded sheep.

Gladys and Harold have converted these 2 Victorian semi-detached cottages into 4 luxury holiday apartments:

Ardclinis - occupies first & second floors and sleeps 4 - 6 persons;
Glenariff - is on the ground floor and has Disabled Category One Status, sleeps 4;
Lemnalary - occupies the first & second floor and sleeps 4-6;
Glencloy - is on the ground floor and sleeps 2.

All bedrooms have en suite facilities and all apartments have spacious lounges with magnificent sea views.

The apartments are set in one and a half acres of gardens and woodland where you can unwind and enjoy the wonder and natural beauty of this part of the Emerald Isle. There is a log cabin/garden room on a large deck area with quality garden furniture to relax in and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the sea and headlands. This facility is ideal for alfresco dining, be it breakfast, afternoon tea or for a BBQ. The garden room also doubles as a hide with an observation window and high powered binoculars for the bird watcher and those who enjoy observing the wildlife and the coastal traffic.

Within easy walking distance is Carnlough with its shops, restaurants and beach. Here you will experience a small fishing village where you will find friendly local pubs where you can enjoy a Guinness or a Bushmills whiskey with craic, music, laughter and a warm welcome for the visitor.

We recently had a very enjoyable stay in the Glenariff apartment. The apartments are very clean and all requirments were catered for, the views are spectacular and we were very lucky with the weather. We hope to return again very soon.
