Police Hunt Man In Rape Case

Police are hunting a man in connection with the alleged repeated rape of an 11-year-old girl.

Colin Anthony Miller, 28, is being sought by the London Metropolitan Police's Child Abuse Investigation Command.

It is understood that Mr Miller frequents the London, South Yorkshire and Aberdeen areas.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred at an address in Tottenham, north London between March and September 2005.

Mr Miller, of Jamaican origin, is described as black, 5 ft 9 in tall, of slim build and speaks with a strong West Indian accent.

As well as the alleged abuse, Mr Miller is also wanted for interview by South Yorkshire Police in connection with an attempted murder in Rotherham in August 2007.

Detective Inspector Noel McHugh said: "As part of our inquiries into allegations of child abuse we would now like to speak to Colin Miller and we would urge anyone who knows his whereabouts or who may have seen a man matching his description to contact us immediately."

The public is advised not to approach the man.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
