Just days ago, stolen plant machinery worth one million euro was recovered by police in the Irish Republic.

Tractors, excavators and mini-cranes were among the machinery recovered near Balbriggan, north Co Dublin last weekend.

It is believed some of the equipment was stolen in England: "A search was carried out at lands and warehouses near Balbriggan and during the course of this search, 15 plant machinery units were discovered including Tractors, Excavators and Telehandlles (Mini telescopic crane) were recovered," said an Irish police spokesman.
