Carl Frampton Defeated By Léo Santa Cruz

Belfast boxer Carl Frampton has been defeated by Léo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas.

The man from Tiger's Bay applauded Santa Cruz as he raised his hand as the winner.

Following the fight, Frampton tweeted: "@leosantacruz2 a great fighter & even better man. We have to do it again. Congratulations champ."

He also said: "He was very clever and he used his reach. I think he deserved it. I'm being honest. I think he deserved it. But it was a very good fight. I think I can perform slightly better. No excuses."

Frampton also called for a third fight in Belfast.

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt
The PSNI have arrested a 23-year-old man in Magherafelt wanted in Lithuania to face charges of human trafficking. The man was arrested by officers from the Police Service's local policing team in Magherafelt, with assistance from the International Policing Unit. He is expected appear before extradition court in Belfast later today.
