Export Workshop Announced By Mid & East Antrim Borough Council
Mid & East Antrim Borough Council has announced an export workshop in partnership with InterTradeIreland.
Announcing the workshop, the council is asking businesses: 'Are you a locally established business in the Mid and East Antrim Borough specialising in manufacturing and tradeable services? Do you have a staffing complement of ten or less and an annual turnover of less than £1m? Are you interested in identifying new customers and markets in Ireland? Then register for this free exporting event.'
Participants on the workshop will learn about current business export opportunities available to their business.
Export consultants will consider 'export readiness' following the completion of assessments. This process will conclude with an opportunity to actively engage with businesses in Ireland through a trade mission for up to 20 companies.
The free workshop will take place at Ballymena North Business and Recreational Centre, on Wednesday 29 March, 2017.

Announcing the workshops, Invest NI said: "Exporting can transform your business, so at a cost of just £75 per person, per workshop, our one-day Export Skills and Knowledge Workshops are not to be missed.

Invest NI have announced a free workshop focusing on doing business in the USA. Organised in association with Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council, attendees will hear from international law specialist Mike Burke from Arnall Golden Gregory, LLP an expert on advising businesses on expanding into the USA.

Council Launches LEAN Network
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council have launched Linking Entrepreneurs in Antrim and Newtownabbey (LEAN) Network. Businesses are being urged to take part in a free workshop which will take place at the Antrim Enterprise Agency, from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday 24 October.
