Workshop Announced On Finance Options For Start-Ups

A new workshop on finance options for start-up entrepreneurs has been announced by Connect, a not-for-profit network of experienced entrepreneurs, business professionals and top research talent.

This Frameworks workshop will provide start-up entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland with advice for raising finance.

The session will cover:

• options for equity finance for early stage companies

• how the venture capital process works

• identifying the best approaches to dealing with investors

• protecting your assets – focusing on IP and technology

• good practice for corporate governance to make your route to finance as stress free as possible.

The workshop will be facilitated by Alastair Keith and Ryan Walker who will also be joined by a panel including Tech StartNI.

The workshop will appeal to innovation focussed entrepreneurs and start-up entrepreneurs or co-founders. It will be held on Tuesday 12 September 2017, at Catalyst Inc, The Innovation Centre, Queen's Road, Belfast, and is free to attend.
