Over A Thousand Leads In Quinn Killing

The Irish police have asked for yet more information on the brutal murder of Cullyhanna man, Paul Quinn last year.

Already, the Gardai are following over 1,000 lines of inquiry in their investigation into the murder of the south Armagh man at the hands of a gang that has been widely linked to the Republican movement.

Superintendent Karl Heller said Gardai are determined to bring the perpetrators of Paul Quinn's murder to justice.

He said the police are appealing to the family and friends of those responsible to examine their consciences, adding that Gardai are liaising closely with the PSNI in Northern Ireland, who are also carrying out many inquiries.

The 21-year-old died after being violently attacked and beaten at a shed near Castleblaney, Co Monaghan three months ago.
