Woman Killed On Carriageway May Have Been 'Forcibly Pushed'

A woman who was killed on the A47 Terrington St John may have been "forcibly pushed", according to police.

The woman, who has not been named, was killed after she was struck by a silver Kia in Norfolk on Sunday afternoon.

A male pedestrian was also killed in the collision.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Durham said: "Although our investigation is in its early stages, initial inquiries have given me sufficient cause for concern that this was more than just a tragic accident.

"As a result I'm appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision - or seen the two pedestrians shortly before the collision - to come forward, no matter how insignificant the information may seem to them."

The woman is described as white, slim and around 5ft 7in tall, with long auburn hair. She was wearing a bright pink T-shirt and black knee-length leggings.

The man was white, 6ft 1in and of slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing blue denim shorts and a grey T-shirt.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
