Welsh Govt Investment Secures 89 New Jobs

Just under 90 new jobs are to be created in Cardiff, with the establishment of a new head office for financial services company, Open Resolution.

The company, which specialises in helping people correct mistakes in their credit rating, will invest £375,000 in its new headquarters, creating 89 new jobs.

The investment in being backed by the Welsh government with a further £250,000.

It is understood that the company had previously considered outsourcing the jobs to a provider in India but said that the government funding had played a "critical role" in its decision to set up in Cardiff.

100 New Jobs To Be Created By Turbine Company
A new turbine assembly plant in Wales is to create 100 new jobs. Tidal Lagoon Power, which will manufacture turbines for the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon project, has not yet decided on a site for its plant, but is understood to be considering three in south-west Wales.
