Three Arrested In Edgbaston Murder Investigation
Police investigating the murder of 55-year-old man in Edgbaston last Friday have arrested two men and a woman.
Police were called to an address in Brewers Square at about 21:45 on Friday, 07 August. A man was found suffering serious stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 27-year-old man from Edgbaston was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday morning.
A 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, also from Edgbaston, were arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 30-year-old man arrested on Friday remains on police bail with strict conditions which include reporting daily to a police station and to live and sleep at a specified address. He will return for more police questioning next month.
Enquiries are on-going and anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of endangering an aircraft after a laser was shone at a police helicopter. The helicopter was responding to a call at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, when someone in a car parked on Benmore Avenue, Edgbaston, shone a laser at it. Police tracked the vehicle and arrested a man from Nechells.

Man Arrested For 2002 Murder Of Becky Godden
Police investigating the disappearance of Becky Godden on December 2002, have arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of murder. Ms Godden was aged 20 when she disappeared in Swindon on 27 December. Her remains were found in 2011 on farmland in Gloucestershire.
