Man Arrested For 2002 Murder Of Becky Godden
Police investigating the disappearance of Becky Godden on December 2002, have arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
Ms Godden was aged 20 when she disappeared in Swindon on 27 December. Her remains were found in 2011 on farmland in Gloucestershire.
A police spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 51-year-old man from Swindon was arrested today on suspicion of the murder of Becky Godden, also known as Rebecca Godden Edwards.
"He has been interviewed and inquiries continue."

A detective has appeared in front of a misconduct hearing accused of not following arrest guidelines during a double murder investigation. It is claimed that in 2011 Christopher Halliwell was not read his rights before leading Det Supt Steve Fulcher to the body of Becky Godden.

Additional Charges Brought Against Becky Watts Murder Accused
A number of additional charges have been brought against those accused of the murder of Becky Watts. Becky was murdered in Bristol in February this year. Six people have been charged in connection with her murder, but police have reported that new evidence has been established by ongoing specialist forensic examinations.

Four More Charged Over Becky Watts Murder
Four more people have been charged in relation to the murder of 16-year-old schoolgirl, Becky Watts. Donovan Demetrius, Karl Demetrius, Jaydene Parsons and James Ireland have all been charged with assisting an offender. They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Bristol Magistrates' Court later today, Friday.

Stepbrother Of Becky Watts Charged With Murder
The stepbrother of 16-year-old Becky Watts has been charged with murder. Nathan Matthews, 28, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Bristol Crown Court on 2 April. His girlfriend, Shauna Hoare, 21, was also remanded in custody.
