Police Continue To Question Suspects Over Becky Watts Murder

Police have been granted more time to question two suspects arrested on suspicion of the murder of Becky Watts, 16, in Bristol.

The man and woman currently remain in custody and can be questioned until this afternoon (Wednesday).

Becky's stepbrother Nathan Matthews, 28, and his girlfriend Shauna Philips, 21, are believed to be the suspects being held.

Four men and a woman have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police discovered body parts at a property in the Barton Hill area on Monday night. Formal identification of the body parts have not yet been completed.

Man Arrested For 2002 Murder Of Becky Godden
Police investigating the disappearance of Becky Godden on December 2002, have arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of murder. Ms Godden was aged 20 when she disappeared in Swindon on 27 December. Her remains were found in 2011 on farmland in Gloucestershire.

Police granted more time to question terror suspects
Police have been granted more time to continue questioning 14 men arrested in a series of anti-terror raids conducted in London at the weekend. The Metropolitan Police have been granted warrants to continue questioning three suspects until Wednesday, while the other eleven men can be questioned until Friday.

Police Given More Time To Question Walsall Terrorism Suspects
Police have been given more time to question three people arrested in Walsall on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism acts. Detectives from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) appeared before London's Westminster Magistrates Court via video link to submit their request for a warrant of further detention.

Police Given More Time To Question Banker Death Suspects
Detectives investigating the murder of a city banker, who died attempting to break up a street brawl, have charged a 21-year-old man. Daniel Moy, of Costessey, near Norwich is accused of attacking the victim's cousin in Norwich on Sunday. It is understood the charge does not relate to the violent death of the top banker, Frank McGarahan last week.

Police granted more time to question 'bomb plot' suspects
Police investigating an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic flights have been granted more time to question five suspects. Police have been granted a further seven days to continue questioning them. They have already been held for 21 days. Under the new anti-terror legislation, terror suspects can be held for questioning for 28 days.
