Woman's Body Found In North-West London
A murder investigation has been launched in Cricklewood, north-west London, following the discovery of a woman's body.
At around 8.10am on Thursday, 8 October, police attended a property on Melrose Avenue in the area after receiving reports of a deceased woman inside. Emergency services on the scene found the body of a woman believed to be in her 40s.
Police have said they believe they know the identity of the deceased, but formal identification is taking place before a name is released. The victim's next-of-kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
No arrests have been made.
Enquiries are continuing.

A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Murder inquiry launched following discovery of burnt body
Police in Sussex have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a woman's body in Eastbourne. The woman, who has yet to be identified, was discovered in a shelter in the Holywell area of Eastbourne at 5:15am on Saturday morning. Police reported that the top half of the body had been badly burnt.

A body found off the coast of the Netherlands is believed to be Suzanne Hughes, Norfolk Police have said. Ms Hughes from Solihull was last seen at about 22:30 on 17 July in Norfolk, where she was holidaying with her husband, daughter and grandson.
