Is the brainchild of Mark Smiley who started the business in 1996 and is based at Lisburn, County Antrim in modern premises equipped with the highest quality machinery using the latest technology. Cutting Industries has been a family run business for over 25 years.

Cutting Industries provides CNC die cutting of bespoke components, manufactured from rubber, foam, plastics & other specialist materials, to a range of customers in the medical, aerospace, automotive and engineering sectors. We have various machines on site which enables us to offer various finishes of product using our manual and automatic CNC die cutting & milling machines.

To ensure your products are produced to the highest standard, we are accredited to ISO 9001:2015. We have been supplying parts to medical, aerospace & defence sectors for over 25 years, and we have a proven track record for not only continuity of quality products but also being able to have full traceability & to work with our customers on any exacting standards they may require.

Products

• Gaskets
A gasket is a mechanical seal that sits in between two surfaces – for protection of these surfaces or to prevent leakages. Gaskets are usually made from a flexible material such as rubber, foam, paper or cork.
• Seals
Manufacturing seals for industries is something we do on a daily basis – whether its five off or five thousand off – we can produce seals bespoke to your requirements.
• Strips
At Cutting Industries we stock a wide range of materials that we can supply in strip form – whether its 5mm wide or 450mm wide we can supply any of our materials at any width or length.
• Washers
Washers are flat rubber circular shapes with a central hole often used to prevent leaks, reduce vibrations and protect surfaces while the hole allows for fastenings or to allow liquid to flow through. Washers are used in most industries as they are a widely versatile part including oil, gas, marine, aerospace, medical and many more.
• Foam Sheeting
We have a wide range of foam sheeting in stock and typically keep – Neoprene/Epdm blend, Silicone, medical grade, polyether, PE, PU, Stratocell and plastazote on site, with many more available as per customer requirements.

Die Cutting
Cutting Industries have heavily invested in our machinery over the last number of years and upgraded our die cutting machines to the latest available machines on the market which has significantly improved our lead times and means we are able to offer highly competitive pricing onto our customers

Kiss Cutting
We have 2 machines on site which are capable of kiss cutting parts. It is a method of cutting where the die cuts through the top layer of material & the adhesive layer but not the backing paper, up to 650mm wide material.

Knife Cutting Machine
Our state-of-the-art Elitron Knife cutting machines can produce anything from a 1 off proto-type to full scale production runs and we carry a full range of tooling on site to suit both machines.

Moulding & Extrusions
We are a supplier that specializes in rubber & plastic parts, and we work with you to ensure that your product is exactly what you want it to be. We supply many different types of moulded rubber & extrusions. Common materials for extrusion would be EPDM & Neoprene in large coils. We can supply extrusions in short to long length, anything from 10mm to 25m Long. We keep some of the more common Extrusions on site, such as tank strap rubber used for fitting round vehicle fuel tanks. We can also produce door seals & window seals bespoke to your requirements.
