JUDE BURROWS INTERIOR DESIGN
Located above the beach in Portrush, a crumbling Victorian townhouse provides a home for me, my husband and 4 children (plus our collie-lab Autumn) and a colourful studio for Jude Burrows Interior Design. When not restoring our own house, the whole family loves beachcombing by day and auction hunting by night!

I have been creating distinctive interiors in homes and commercial properties throughout Northern Ireland since 2000. Working with skilled and trusted craftspeople enables me to provide creative solutions for the most challenging of interiors conundrums!

Projects

Project 01: Further.Space Luxury Pod
These luxury ‘glamping’ pods are not like any other. Designed to feel like ‘a hotel room in the wilds’, the challenge was to create an interior that was both multi-functional and super-glamorous. The curved shape of the interior presented a serious design challenge, as did the long list of requirements for a tourist board-approved facility. The end result has a chic style all of its own. Project 02: Fullerton Annex
The Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy prides itself on its cuisine and its pet friendly bar and restaurant. When the owners wanted to overhaul their annex rooms they aimed to create cosy and stylish family spaces where pets would also be welcome. Accommodation in the four rooms now includes cleverly designed built in bunks and pull out beds to maximise space without compromising on style or comfort.

Project 03: The Montague
Overlooking the seafront in the picturesque seaside town of Portstewart, this brand new apartment development has bags of style and views for days! The brief was to completely fit out this 3 bed apartment for clients overseas and have it move-in ready (just bring your toothbrush!). The finished home reflects the relaxing surroundings and provides a safe and cosy haven from winter storms.

Project 04: Saltrock
Saltrock House lies overlooking Portrush harbour. This Victorian terrace was in desperate need of
a modern overhaul to cater for its new owners and the many paying guests they host. The 7 bedroom, 8 bathroom property was given a modern rear extension and a luxury outside space as well as an entirely new interior. The vision was to create a modern classic home that would wow its guests with luxury touches, whilst respecting its location and heritage. The end product does not disappoint!
