Creative videography and documentary storytelling to make your brand stand out.
With a history of fiction and documentary independent filmmaking, producing, writing, directing and editing four feature length films and editing a further two features in the USA for Cannes and Sundance winner, Rob Nilsson, I am a highly experienced, creative filmmaker. With twenty years of experience making videos for diverse clients and working as a film educator and mentor, I have worked with and created a vast reel of video and film work for a multitude of clients. What sets me apart in the videography field is an unending dedication to real filmmaking and applying that to my video work, coupled with a collaborative, authentic and human approach that defines all of my work.

Documentary storytelling and true indie filmmaking
A curated selection of features, shorts and documentary work all intended for the big screen. I don’t believe there is any great difference between fiction and non fiction filmmaking. My fiction films are documents of a kind and I always try to let real life intervene. My documentary films are at times more ‘directed’ than my dramatic work. Ultimately, I can only make something that I truly believe in. I have received funding on several occasions to write and direct my own projects, including development funding for a feature film project.

They say there’s only two types of films; films about films and films about life. My films definitely fall into the later category. Genre, conventions and references are good fun but ultimately I’m interested in humanity and particularly, individuals. Filmmaking isn’t simply storytelling, it’s a way of understanding ourselves and the world and at the best, it can extend empathy and create unity.
